#1 Question To Ask About Your Clubhouse Experience

Are you getting what you want out of your Clubhouse experience?
With nearly 10 million people showing up on the exciting new app adventure, the conversations on Clubhouse and opportunities are seemingly endless. But how can a person make sure they are getting the most out of their time investment? The Winning Network has you covered. Here’s the #1 Question to ask yourself and a few practical steps to get you started in a direction that matches your goals.
What are you doing IMMEDIATELY after you close the app?
If your first step after the time you spend on Clubhouse is to rub your face in exhaustion after being on for 5 hours, chances are you have invested your time in a way that distanced you from taking appropriate action towards your goals. This IS the question to be asking, “What is my NEXT step?” So take note if you’ve been on the app for weeks or months, what is your usual next step when you close the app?
It should be action-oriented, energizing, and fit in such a way that you see an immediate growth step, in a sense, rewarding you for the investment you just made. And trust us, you made one. Tony Stark said, “No amount of money ever bought a single second of time.” Our time investment is a big deal, and for many, Clubhouse is the recipient of that. Here are a few practical actions you can take to set yourself up for success in answering the question, “What am I going to do next?”
Action Ideas
- Make a list of potential next steps WHILE YOU'RE ON THE APP! Then, before you close out, pick one and then immediately do it. Is it to call someone? Work on one of your projects? Vacuum? DRINK WATER?! Set up your next room? Make a list and then pull from the options you made while you were “in the zone.”
- Check you are already on the progress to-do list. Look, if the laundry is piling up, the dishes are forming an HOA, you have 10 people in your life outside of Clubhouse you need to respond to that might be thinking you went off the grid, or, you haven't eaten or slept in a while, start there. So much progress and growth are found in just DOING the things you already said you were GOING to do!
- Sit and reflect. You don't think I’d forget about all you wonderful people, who like me, enjoy learning in solitude more so than a societal structure, did you?! It’s a powerful action you can choose: Sit there, close your eyes, and reflect on all you heard shared all you brought to the discussion and all that you chose NOT to share. Breathe deeply and see what resurfaces. Then ask yourself, “I wonder why these things are sticking? What could I do next with these things coming to mind?
WHAT IS NEEDED TO DO THIS:
- Willingness. Show up for yourself. Make the decision to act in such a way that you realize you’re responsible for your own experience at Clubhouse. We are under no obligation to engage in a way that violates our boundaries or self-respect.
- Pen and paper. For that action list to choose from when you close the app!
- A friend to bounce ideas off of. This could help a lot, and hey, if you’d like, we can be that person for you!

If you’re going to invest time in a Clubhouse experience, make sure you’re playing the game you want to play. If it starts to not be fun any longer, rest assured happiness is not far behind.
